Exhibition at Elvaston Castle

'Epic Forest - An inner walk through the seasons' is a new Artist in Residence Exhibition by Howie Johnson, taking place this year in Gothic Hall at Elvaston Castle.

‘Epic Forest – An inner walk through the seasons’ is a new Artist in Residence Exhibition by Howie Johnson, taking place this year in Gothic Hall at Elvaston Castle.

The main feature of the exhibition is that you will be able to walk through the four seasons in the woods; with Howie’s photographic images printed onto large chiffons. Other prints will also be available to view.

Based on forest bathing which is a meditation technique that is becoming popular, on certain weekends there will be a chance for the public to get involved with different well-being practitioners, form Yoga to Sound Baths.

The exhibition starts on July 31st and finishes on Monday 30th August 2021, taking place each Weekend, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 10:30am and 4:30pm.

 

About The Artist

Howie Johnson has been an artists photographer for the last 10 years. After suffering a heart attack, Howie’s life was changed, and his passion for the arts helped him to discover and practice different meditation techniques. These helped Howie through the difficult patches.
