Storytelling, Health and Well Being Online Open Forum
Monday 3 November, 6 – 7.30pm
ONLINE
Free – registration required
Adverse Camber is hosting an online conversation in a few weeks about storytelling, health and wellbeing.
Adverse Camber is an independent production company and registered charity, powered by a dynamic team of freelance creative producers, artists and associates. Founded in 2006 their ongoing focus is to create more access to and more ambitious artistic support for storytelling.
This open forum discussion invites practitioners to discuss key topics of interest within storytelling today. This session will feature examples from Wales, including Eleanor Shaw, founder and Artistic Director of People Speak Up, an Arts and Health charity based in Llanelli/Carmarthen and Ceri Phillips who works as a storyteller within the PSU programme, and is also one of the 10 storytellers who is part of Adverse Camber’s Cysur y Sêr project. After their presentations, sharing examples of their practice, there will be the chance to ask questions and discuss with others in breakout spaces.
It would be great to have you in the discussion, to help us think more about storytelling’s contribution to health in the Midlands region!
Please register for the meeting by 10am on the day of the session by following this link and zoom will send you the link for the session automatically.
