The new National Centre for Creative Health was formed in response to the Creative Health report which was the result of a two year inquiry led by the All-Party Parliamentary Group of Arts, Health and Wellbeing.

The centre will play a pivotal role in promoting collaboration to enable creative health to become integral to health and social care and wider systems.

The launch will reflect on how the arts, culture and creativity can support people and organisations in the context of the pandemic and increasing health inequalities.

Strategies for Wellbeing

The training is relevant for any arts organisation who employ freelance artists and/or have their own delivery team for participatory arts projects. In particular, the training is aimed at organisations who work in health, mental health and wellbeing settings. The course is aimed at senior staff in arts organisations and trustees who support strategic wellbeing in an organisation.

The organising committee are particularly interested to encourage creatives to exhibit their artworks at the exhibition, though all are also still welcome to apply to be considered to present or share in other ways. The application process is quick and simple so there's still time to get involved.
