Hubbub training session offer
Dear East Midlands friends & colleagues,Please find information about our upcoming training: An Introduction to The Hubbub Way.As you may know, Hubbub Theatre has developed a unique methodology for co-facilitating creative processes & co-creating theatre with learning disabled, autistic and/or neurodivergent performers. The Hubbub Way has emerged over 25 years, rooted in my Drama & Movement Therapy training (The Sesame Approach), teaching & creative practice with a wide range of people of all ages & abilities. In 2019/20 The Hubbub Way was developed into a training offer in collaboration with Helen Baggett of Gecko Theatre, who saw the unique process that we embed our creative work in.Since 2021 we have delivered a number of successful introductory training programmes with 100% positive feedback. We have also offered 20 creative practitioners a long, in depth training process which has been described as ‘life changing’ with another trainee stating ‘every creative practitioner needs to do this.’We are working on a programme of training offers for the next few years, including this 2 day package filled with ‘the best of’ the offers we have made so far. We want to offer this to you, our colleagues, partners & allies first. In this two day introductory session you can begin to learn some of the ways in which to work with diverse groups, learn ways to improve your accessible communications with learning disabled, autistic and/or neurodivergent communities, and begin the development of your practice in inclusive creativity. We would love to welcome you, our East Midlands colleagues, at an introductory price of £300 for the two day course. If you have any questions, please do get in contact.
