Peak District National Park is looking to involve community groups in the south of the Park in a new project called Peaks of Health. If your group supports people with mental or physical health challenges and would like to venture into the National Park more often to support your participants they want you to get involved.
They want to support 8 community groups by providing them with 2 supported walks and funding towards transport to visit areas of the National Park with their participants this year. Group leaders will be invited to a training session to support you to make more use of the Peak District National Park for the mental and physical health benefits it can offer your participants. If your group is looking to take steps towards spending more time in the National Park please get in touch to find out more. Email Jackie.Wragg@peakdistrict.gov.uk
