Young Chesterfield musicians’ grants

Young Chesterfield musicians' grants

Young people, schools or other organisations in Chesterfield are able to apply for grants to help them continue and develop their music making.

Thanks to a bequest from a local resident, Derbyshire County Council is offering individual grants of up to £500 for those aged 5 to 18, and grants of up to £2,000 for schools and other organisations operating in Chesterfield.

The money can help to support any kind of music-maker wanting to progress their studies either by either buying equipment, paying for lessons or support to further develop a young person’s musical talent.
