Back by popular demand, traditional Welsh music band Caffl bring you a festive night of dance and fun. It’s like a ceilidh but the dances and tunes are Welsh. Michelle Holding is an expert caller and will lead you through the dances to beautiful Welsh tunes you may never have heard. Nadolig Llawen!!

Vindication Swim: A Local Connection to Derby’s History

Filmmaker Elliott Hasler’s hit film Vindication Swim brings to life the inspiring story of pioneering swimmer Mercedes Gleitze, best known for her record-breaking swims, including her famous English Channel crossing in 1927. While the film focuses on her remarkable career, the story of Mercedes Gleitze also has a special connection to Derbyshire.
