Derby Book Festival e-shot

We are sure you will all have been saddened by the news of the serious flooding in Derby and Derbyshire.  Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected and particularly to our partners at the Museum of Making.

Just when it looked like the city’s arts venues were recovering from the after-effects of the pandemic, disaster has struck again with the devastation caused by the flooding.  The impact on the Museum of Making will be significant and we hope you can support their appeal.

Please do also support the other arts venues which have also been impacted this weekend. Just buying a cuppa helps them financially and, of course, you can support QUAD by purchasing tickets for the Autumn Edition!

Autumn Edition

Tickets are selling well for the 12 events at our Autumn Edition with Stuart Maconie and Wes Streeting MP looking likely to sell out beforehand.
If you haven’t yet bought a Festival Pass or booked your tickets, please visit the events page.

Festival Book Fair, Saturday 18 November, 10.30am – 4pm.

Once they’ve had time to assess the situation, we will discuss the feasibility of holding our Autumn Book Fair at the Museum of Making, but we feel sure it will find a home elsewhere in the city centre if the Museum hasn’t reopened by 18th November.

We hope to be able to give you more information in the next couple of weeks about the venue.  We are all hopeful that the Museum of Making will reopen before the Festival starts.  Please check our website for updates and social media.Festival Book Fair, Saturday 18 November, 10.30am – 4pm.
