September in the Studio

It’s going to be jammed packed with creative goodness this term.

I don’t know about you but it’s been a fantastic summer for me, I have taken some time out and really recharged my batteries ready for the new term. We have more than ever going on in the studio with two new tutors starting this month alongside already a fabulous team of existing tutors. Dave will be teaching lino printing and has a course starting on Monday evenings in September. Sally isn’t really new as she started teaching for us in 2013 but is now back from possibly the longest maternity leave ever and will be teaching illustrative drawing and painting on Friday mornings from September.

This month’s book club book is Someday by a local author Deborah Young you can purchase your copy online here.

Woolly Wednesday is back in the studio in both the morning and the evening with no need to book you can just turn up and pay. More details here. You can also browse our great wool range from Stylecraft or purchase a handmade card during our Woolly Wednesday sessions so feel free to pop in and visit us then.

Carol has invented some fabulous new needle felting classes for you including a squirrel and a polar bear.
I am being good and not mentioned the C word in August but there is quite a lot online and bookable already and more to follow soon. We are also getting very booked up for Brownie, Guides, Scouts and adult groups for festive sessions in the run-up to the big day so please get in touch to book your chosen date as soon as possible.

Our popular little creatives sessions are back as normal on Fridays from next week and are home education session dates are bookable now too.

We are really looking forward to the studio being a hive of activity again this September after all the disruption over the last few years and if bookings are anything to go by it’s going to be great!
