HORIZON SHOWCASE are offering opportunities for artists:

Artist Residency for those who:

have a creative idea and a creative team in place and are ready to get into the studio
are committed to developing their practice and their networks through this opportunity
have strong potential for future international touring

Includes:

2 week residency at a consortium member’s venue between September 2022 and July 2023
up to £5000 budget
Travel, accommodation and per diems at Edinburgh Festival August 2023
Networking opportunities
International onward touring support
Access costs

PLUS Artist bursary for those who:

are at the early stages of their career
have limited international experience
are not in full-time education
identify as disabled / D/deaf / neurodivergent / with a long-term health issue or who experience energy limiting chronic illness
and/or identify as coming from a low socio economic / low income background.*NB we are aware that language is in flux and many different people choose to use many different terms. We are open to reflecting terms you wish to use

Includes:

A payment of £575
Complimentary tickets to Horizon performances at the Edinburgh Festivals in 2022
Participation in a bespoke programme of networking, workshop and development opportunities
Return land based travel to Edinburgh from a UK base
Accommodation and per diems in Edinburgh for 7 nights
Access costs

PLUS Live Presentation opportunity for artists who:

Are based in England (NB artists do not have to identify as English)
Have a ‘tour ready’ performance that challenges the perceived status quo
Are committed to developing their practice and networks through this opportunity
Are available to attend Horizon Showcase in Edinburgh 2023
