Take a look at this incredible mural design co-created by the Colour The City group! Artist Jack Weller has been working with the group to incorporate the elements of the ‘Derby 2060’ story, a visual representation by Artcore’s Colour The City young people, and brought to life in the form of this Mural by the artist.
About the Story:
Working with the themes of colour, the environment and wellbeing, young people developed an idea of what Derby would look like after the effects of climate change. In this case, this means it’s underwater and in desperate need of saving! Using the brief and storyboard, Jack, one of our YAC artists; has transformed the ideas into a mural using his abstract style and colourful palette to highlight key parts of the young people’s vision.
