Once you have applied, the Editor will approve your application and you will receive an email telling you that you are now invited to login to create a directory listing and add your events to your account
Yes! Lots of artists run multiple ‘microbusinesses’ that are totally separate in scope or what services are offered. If this sounds like you and you have a portfolio career, then you can create another artist’s or arts organisation listing on your account under your same profile. Simply register for an account per the process outlined above and then you can create multiple individual listings for the website for the multiple businesses you might run, all under one login.
At the bottom of every page in the website you can sign up for our monthly ‘What’s On’ newsletter that will give you lots of ideas about all the exciting things to do in our county. Just add your email and submit it to get added to the list.
For professionals in the Arts industry, we also have a series of professional network mailing lists for information about specific art forms or facets of the Arts Industry. Find these on this page on our website: https://artsderbyshire.org.uk/professional-mailing-lists/
On each email you receive from us, there will be an unsubscribe button at the bottom which allows you to unsubscribe from that particular mailing list, or from all mailing lists.
You can also get in touch with us if you are having trouble unsubscribing on editor@artsderbyshire.org.uk
To change your password, login to your account here: https://artsderbyshire.org.uk/login/
Then go to your ‘Profile’ and click ‘Set new password’ to either accept an auto-generated secure password, or create your own.
When you first signed up for your account, you will have used your email address to create an account, along with a password that is known only to you.
For security reasons, we cannot see your password, and so if you have forgotten your password, you will need to use the ‘lost password’ tool that can be found here:
https://artsderbyshire.org.uk/wp/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
To submit events for inclusion on the Arts Derbyshire website, you need to be a registered member with an artist’s/arts org or venues profile.
If you are not a registered member then you can register for an account right here to get one or more listings in our directory:
https://artsderbyshire.org.uk/register/
After you have registered, you can login to your account here: https://artsderbyshire.org.uk/login/
Once logged in, you can add your events to the website by following these steps:
First set up an event for your What’s On item and fill out all the details per the instructions above. Once you have published this first event you can then go back to ‘edit’ this event and click the ‘duplicate event’ button on the right hand side. This will create a copy that you can go and take a look at and edit in your ‘All events’ list.
Simply duplicate as many times as you would like, and then go back in and edit the date to have your event come up over multiple days (say, for a week-long exhibition, or weekly workshops or classes).
There are two ways to submit a news item to us. You can visit this page on our website and submit your news items using the form on this page, or you can email us on editor@artsderbyshire.org.uk
