Artist profile

Tyler Turner

Tyler Turner (she/her) is a poet, facilitator and coalfields researcher living and working in Bolsover, Derbyshire.

Her passions are community arts and coal mining heritage. She frequently collaborates with Rotten Poetry, Junction Arts, Writing East Midlands, Bolsover District Council and English Heritage and is the current Writer-in-Residence for the Cultural Corridor, Bolsover Castle and Pleasley Pit Museum.

No one showed little Tyler that she could make a career from writing, so she is particularly interested in working with young people to be that person for them. But with over half a decade of facilitation experience, she has worked with people of all ages and abilities and is open to anything.
