The Sewing Barn

The Sewing Barn is set in a courtyard of converted farm buildings.
It is a two storey studio, on the ground floor is the shop which sells fabrics ( mainly 100% cotton ) sewing accessories, sewing threads, felt , elastics and much more.
On the second floor is the spacious work space which in addition to 4 large tables has a cutting table.

Creative Genre

  • Regular sewing workshops where customers can work on their own projects with lots of help and support to improve and enhance their skills. Specialist workshops in which customers are able to create something unique and learn new skills and techniques. For example fabric collage, animal and bird sculptures using soft toy making skills enhanced with wire and layering techniques.

Work Undertaken

  • Workshops organised for groups from 4 to 15 people. Commission welcome for any of the items I make.
