Artist profile
I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 1997 and while living in Cambridgeshire exhibited widely across the south- East.My work was then influenced by the wide landscapes and open skies of the Fens. Since returning to Derbyshire I have been inspired by the Moors and currently my passion is for the forms of trees. I work mostly in oils on canvas or linen and find it is important to my process to work a lot with my hands.
