Artist profile
I like to produce paintings in bright cheerful colours which are based on my own photographs. My paintings tend towards a ‘Poster Art’ style which are sometimes likened to old railway posters. In 2014 I won a Derbyshire County Council Award at the Derbyshire Open and this year I received a Commendation Medal. I also work to commission and can paint more traditional portraits in oils. In recent months I have been developing my digital painting. I am a member of High Peak Artists at Gallery in the Gardens Buxton. Also a member of The Gallery New Mills.
