Sarah Hinds

Sarah is a Derbyshire-based singer-songwriter and workshop facilitator. She writes songs about her observations of the natural world, land, climate change and biodiversity loss, history, mental health and women’s lives. This includes songs about specific places such as Belper, where she lived, and ‘The Garden’ (near Ashbourne) where she runs an outdoor therapy centre.

Since 2023 she has collaborated with Heartwood Social Framing Centre in Matlock to develop research projects and workshops exploring people’s relationship with the land and the way music and song relates to this.

She has also collaborated on projects where fine-art and music combine. such as ‘Revolve:R’ an International art collaboration book and ’50 Bees’ textiles and music.
