Artist profile

Richard Bett

Richard is a professional jeweller who for 14 years has been exhibiting at Wirksworth Festival. He has spent more than 35 years working with precious and semi-precious metals and stones and, as an experimental jeweller, has produced a diverse array of excitingly different pieces. Richard works closely with clients to design and create bespoke commissions, often reusing/recycling existing jewellery by melting it down, or transforming it by incorporating it into a completely new design. He also has a wide range of ‘off the peg’ jewellery available to view, including his newest range based on Amber Valley and its industrial past.
