  • Johnny has written more than a thousand songs. He has two published books. One under his real name Alan Charnley called 'Facing Surgery-Don't Be A Scaredy Cat.' The book is aimed at nervous patients needing reassurance before going under surgery. The second book under his pen name Marmaduke Jinks is 'Re-incarnation for Beginners.'
