Arts Derbyshire

Artist profile

We are environmental and horticultural practitioners carrying out a wide range of projects and activities in a number of schools and residential homes. Examples of projects include installation of Food Gardens, Willow Sculptures and Domes, Wetland Scrapes, Wildlife Gardens, Giant Land Art, Ecology and Habitat Surveying and Management. All projects and activities are carried out through ongoing consultation and feedback. We have a strong emphasis on design and include students and residents in every aspect of a new creation. We have a joint 13 years experience of working with all sectors of the community from infants through to elders and encourage intergenerational and partnership working wherever possible. We also have a wealth of experience working with adults with mental health and learning disabilities, young people and excluded students. We relish new challenges and encourage the use of the outdoors as a valuable and enjoyable learning space. Please see our mini web for picture and futher information about our practice and our past and current projects.
