Formed in 1985, DATA organises a mutual aid advertising system for its member societies, of which there are now about 40. Each member society includes in the programme of each of its own events a list of the forthcoming events of all member societies. The scheme provides a very cheap means of advertising to the general public who attend such events. The scheme is based on a monthly electronic mailing to each member society. A full listing of all events notified is available to anyone by visiting our website. New member societies are welcome. DATA is a registered Charity. Steve Dunning is the Chairman of DATA, Jannice Read the Treasurer and Dave Williamson is the Secretary and administrator.
