With December just round the corner and the Christmas excitment building come and join us to make some beautiful homemade items to show off with pride!
Your tutor, Alyson, is looking forward to meeting you and says:
“Book Folding takes many forms that have grown in popularity over the last few years. However, book folding was around in this country many years ago when churches made Hymnal angels from old hymn books.
This light hearted Christmas workshop is demonstrates the basic skills needed to produce this popular art. Ideal to give as a gift or a bespoke item for the home.
Learn how to apply folds to a book to create a mini tree hanger and a Yule Log place setting. Once folded you will be able to decorate your pieces with seasonal ribbon and embellishments before taking them home with you.
Everything is provided for your to learn some basic folds to create your Christmas decorations. If you wish to continue at home kits are available to buy on the day.”

Specific to this workshop:
No experience is necessary. Folding each page involves fine motor dexterity. If you have difficulties please let us know because Alyson can adapt the craft for you.
This is a relaxed, morning running from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.00am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Alyson and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
£35 + 79p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your beautiful paper Christmassy items, mulled wine and mince pies during the morning (excluding lunch)
