Your tutor, Helen, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Join me to learn the art of calligraphy with a modern twist at our Christmas Workshop at the beautiful venue, Our Crafty Place – Ilkeston.
Master the Basics: Explore essential techniques, strokes and letterforms.
Hands-On Experience: Practice pen control and letter consistency with personalised guidance.
Relaxing Atmosphere: Connect with like-minded people in a calm and creative setting.
By the end of the workshop you will have created your own beautiful calligraphy pieces, either for you to keep or share with friends and family”

Specific to this workshop:
Absolutely no experience is necessary. This workshop is ideal for beginners. You will need to hold and direct your pen and have a fairly steady hand. Suitable for both left and right handers.
This is a relaxed, morning running from 10am to 12.30pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Helen and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8 … Reserve your place today! Limited spaces available but with lots of Christmas cheer!
What is the cost?
£48+ 98p card fee. This includes everything you need for the workshop and a personalised calligraphy kit to take home so you can continue to practice even after the workshop, plus drinks and mince pies during the morning (excluding lunch).
