What's on
Your tutor, Helen, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Following on from the taster session, I will be teaching further mosaic-making skills during this day-long session. You will have the opportunity to complete an animal shape and will have the choice of a bird, fish, dolphin or elephant. Alternatively, you can design your own picture on a 20cm square base, such as a flower or simple landscape or pattern. There will be images to help you if you’re not sure what to choose.
No prior experience is needed as I will go right back to basics if you missed the taster session. You will be working individually on your mosaic so this workshop is suitable for any level. If you don’t complete your mosaic within the day there will be opportunities in the future to finish it off and grout it or you might like to finish it at home. You will be given a bag of grout as part of the workshop fee.”
Anticipation to enjoy the whole experience!
Specific to this workshop:
No experience is necessary. This day is for beginners and novices. You will be learning how to use tile cutters, which require a fair degree of finger strength but Helen will give you advice and guidance on the easiest way to use them.

Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Helen and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
£70 + £1.32 card fee. This includes all the materials needed to make your mosaic, drinks and home-made biscuits during the day (excluding lunch)
