Make a Cross Body Bag @ Our Crafty Place

The Workshop

Your tutor, Melinda, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Make your very own cross body bag to take home.
Your finished project will be fully lined, with a zip fastening to the front, inside pocket and adjustable length strap.

Do you avoid sewing with zips seeing them as too much of a challenge? On this workshop will learn step by step how to do this, giving you the confidence to tackle a wider selection of projects, giving them a professional finish.

This evening workshop is suitable for those with limited sewing skills who are looking to build upon those.

You can either bring your machine or use one of our machines (first come first served)”

What to bring?

Anticipation to enjoy the whole experience!

Specific to this workshop:

  • Please bring your own sewing machine, if possible.
  • Please feel free to bring a small, easy to eat snack with you, if you are going to miss having an evening meal. We can provide you with a plate.
  • Reading glasses if you need them.

What skills are needed?

Beginners ability. You will need to have a basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine.

What are the timings?

This is a relaxed evening running from 6.30pm to 9pm.

Our purple front door will be open from 6pm so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Melinda and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.

How many places are available?

To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 12.

What is the cost?

£35 + 79p card fee. This includes: all the materials needed to make your beautiful cross body bag, drinks and home-made biscuits during the evening.
