Friday Night Mix is a unique after hours evening amongst the surroundings of the Museum & Art Gallery. This one-off event will feature music from performer Maria and drinks will be available to enjoy before you head around the city to partake in the Festé celebrations!
We’ll be Clowning Around on Saturday with a family friendly afternoon of big top nonsense at the Museum & Art Gallery, inspired by Quentin Blake and John Yeoman’s The Fabulous Foskett Family Circus. Enjoy a range of circus performances and get involved yourself!
Celebrate Making on Saturday with late-night opening and a range of traditional and contemporary making activities to get involved in at the Museum of Making. There’ll be everything from weaving to pewter casting, with demonstrations from local makers throughout the day.
If you can’t make this weekend, don’t worry, there’s still plenty happening over the autumn. We’ve got an evening of Folk Festival Fun, poetry workshops for adults and children, Tots Make and Do and a Woodworking Taster Course where you can make your own bird house! Check our website for new events, regularly updated.
