The Freelancers’ Handbook is a new, free resource from the Arts Council, offering practical support to freelancers across the cultural sector and the organisations they work with.
Written and co-edited by freelancer Rachel Mapplebeck, the Handbook is a direct response to findings from the 2024 Cultural Freelancers Study and covers essential topics including fair pay and late payment recourse, funding, continuing professional development, and mental health and wellbeing.
