Strange Twig Theatre Company Brings Family-Friendly Production to Chesterfield

Strange Twig Theatre Company is bringing their family-friendly production of Journey to the Centre of the Earth to the Rose Theatre in Chesterfield on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026, from 6pm to 8pm.

Lucinda McTucket and Stanley ‘Trigger-Happy’ Cavendish are looking for adventure, and it comes in the form of a strange package! A mysterious postal worker sets them off on the quest of a lifetime, with wonders not seen in an age. But is she really all she makes herself out to be, or does she have nefarious intentions? Only time will tell as the adventurers travel through the darkest jungles and into parts unknown with promises of fame and fortune at their fingertips.

Fast-paced and filled with fun, this new take on Jules Verne’s Journey To The Centre of the Earth has it all – Jungles, Mystery and Dinosaurs!

Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for children aged 16 and under, or £30 for a group of four.
