Artcore is delighted to invite you for the launch of Artcore Gallery’s upcoming group exhibition, “STAND UP!” This exhibition, curated in commemoration of International Women’s Day, draws inspiration from the United Nations’ mandate, DigitALL or “Digital for All,” aiming to open up discussions on equality in the digital era and narrow the gender gap in technology use. It showcases the works of contemporary British and international artists.
The exhibition explores various themes such as women’s narratives, gender equality, mental health, identity, and the human body, among others, and features a diverse array of media including film, textiles, digital collage, photography, and painting.
The exhibition launch will take place on Friday, 8th March, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Artcore Gallery, located at 8 Albert Street, Osnabruck Square, Derby DE1 2Ds. (The exhibition will be open to the public until April 20th. Gallery hours are from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm).
