Crafting Future is a funded residency that puts traditional crafts in conversation with contemporary art practices. A selected UK artist will create a project in collaboration with a master zellige artisan and a local artist.

WHAT’S PROVIDED:

  • Housing and daily stipend
  • Studio space
  • Technical and cultural support
  • A unique experience in the largest medina in the world

WHAT WE ASK:

  • A final exhibition
  • Two workshops for youth from the local community
  • Open-mindedness and ability to adapt

WHO’S ELIGIBLE:


Disciplines: Visual art, mixed media, video, photography, sculpture, architecture

UK-based artists, any age
