Not long now till this year’s bumper Fringe which runs from July 8th to 26th alongside a packed Buxton International Festival!
We have some 230 fantastic entries for this year’s Fringe, our biggest yet! As well as using the printed programme, you can find out what’s on via our website or the free to download Buxton Fringe App. To help you decide what to see, have a look at this Press page which features our by-category press release guides to everything that’s on during the Fringe. Sometimes things change. There can be cancellations, alterations or extra performances. Before setting out for a show, check out our LateChanges.
We also have a fun new and ongoing series of Fringe blogs featuring extracts from performers’ press releases.
Juggling lots of commitments? Why not try using the Fringe website’s Planner? It can help you work out how to fit in the events you want to see and create a schedule which you can then synch to the Fringe app. New for this year, you can also download your schedule and import it into the online calendar of your choice.
The Fringe Information Desk now in the Octagon Lounge in the Pavilion Gardens will be open from 10am to 5pm from July 8th to 26th and looks forward to welcoming you. There may even be busking going on outside!
Please support our performers and artists by going to as many shows as you can! There is ticket booking information on each event listing – it is a great idea to book in advance. We also give some useful general ticket advice here. Remember for any Fringe event booked via the Opera House you will need to have a physical ticket.
