I’m sure many of you took part in the fabulous Culture of Care National Conference last week, led by Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance. It was clear that an enormous amount of care had indeed gone into the programming and delivery of this event with a wealth of stirring, motivational and inspiring presentations and speakers.
Thriving Communities Social Prescribing Projects Announced
The National Academy for Social Prescribing have announced thirty-seven community projects that were awarded funding to further advance social prescribing and support communities as they recover from COVID-19.
A range of local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups will be given grants to support projects that unlock the power of social prescribing in their local areas, bringing together place-based partnerships across arts and culture, heritage, nature, physical exercise, financial wellbeing, health and care.
