The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October every year.
This year’s theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is ‘mental health for all’. Throughout this day and week there are opportunities for people to talk about all aspects of mental health, with focus on providing help, advice and engaging with others.
As well as the national events, Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have been working with local partners within the Chesterfield area to support ‘World Mental Health Day’ and incorporate the theme ‘Mental Health for all’. They have arranged some free virtual sessions and webinars throughout the week leading up to World Mental Health Day, please see the poster with information on the different sessions.
