In this wintry session, we will wrap ourselves up in poetry that embodies the magic of the season. As we engage in the ritual of writing, we will consider the rituals that we engage in each winter and use them as prompts to inspire our own poetry.
Suitable for ages 16+.
Workshop Plan• Introduction and small icebreaker activity.
• 5-10 minute festive free-write to limber up.
• Explore and discuss examples of winter themed poetry.
• Follow a series of prompts that encourage engagement with the magic of the season.
• Opportunities to share work and offer feedback.
