The Comedy Village was created by comedian Rob Rouse. He wanted to bring the best stand up comedy to the small villages in the Peak District. His dream was to create evenings full of laughter, that would bring small communities together, reducing the need for people to have to travel into the cities to find entertainment and culture.
Rob books the best live stand ups from the circuit and brings them to your local venue. All the acts are headliners in their own right, a brilliant mix of comics you might have seen on the TV or heard on the Radio and some who may be new to you, but you’ll also absolutely love.
Since its first show in 2018 the Comedy Village has come a long way. With 5 venues each month regularly selling out and bringing much needed laughter to Derbyshire and also Sheffield. the Comedy Village is expanding! So keep your eyes peeled for a Comedy Village gig near you!
