Erewash Sound is the local radio station for the Derbyshire borough of Erewash, created by local people for local people. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from our studios in Ilkeston, we provide news, information and interviews about what’s happening on your doorstep alongside a soundtrack of music that you’ll love.
The Media Centre, our home in Ilkeston, is also the base for the Erewash Sound Academy where we offer creative media training within easy access of Derby and Nottingham. Courses cover presenter training, producer training and creating podcasts. In addition, we offer a recognised NCFE Level 2 qualification ‘Create a Radio Programme’.
