CVAN EM is seeking artist and arts workers to join our Steering Group at a pivotal moment of regional growth, investment and strategic development. We are recruiting:

  • 2 Sponsored Artist / Freelance Arts Workers (£200 per meeting)
  • 2-3 Organisational Representatives

This voluntary role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the visual arts sector in the East Midlands, while building valuable networks and leadership experience.

As part of the Steering Group, members will:

  • Advise on strategy and priorities
  • Act as regional and national advocates
  • Contribute insight shaped by their practice and experience

Our current focus includes advocacy, artist investment, regional visibility, and inclusive infrastructure, alongside delivery of Ode to the Midlands, an 18-month Arts Council England funded programme.
