Exciting News From Repton FilmFest’22!

Hurry and take a Peaky Blinders at this!

Repton Festival offers a national showcase for local musicians and filmmakers.

Local film and music video makers have the chance to put their talent in front of Peaky Blinders award-winning director Tom Harper at this year’s Repton Festival.  But they only have until the 10th of June to do it. Tom, who also directed This is England ’86 and Misfits, will give a one-hour exclusive mentoring session to the competition’s overall winner to find the country’s best new film and music video talent.  And the organisers of this July’s Repton Festival are especially seeking competition entries from East Midlands’ talent.

A top prize of £500 is on offer and the chance to have work screened and mixed with film and music industry professionals.

With an entry fee of only £10 it’s a unique chance for established and aspiring filmmakers and music video-makers to showcase their work.

“We know the talent is out there across our region. We want to give newcomers and experienced film and music video makers the chance to shine,” says film scholar, author, and festival organiser Tom Craig. “With entry categories covering drama, documentary, comedy animation, music video and ‘student’, there is something for everyone – and a great chance for entrants to pick up a prize.”

The deadline for entries is 10th June 2022.

Details are available on the festival website https://www.reptonliteraryfestival.co.uk/

and entry is via https://filmfreeway.com/TheReptonFestival
