Lovers of vintage fashion, antique textiles and unique interiors are in for a treat as the magnificent Assembly Rooms at Buxton Crescent opens its doors for a special shopping event – The Vintage & Textiles Fair – on Sunday 25 October, 10am – 4pm bringing together expert dealers and carefully curated treasures from across the UK.
Set within the stunning surroundings of Buxton’s Grade I listed Crescent Assembly Rooms, the event promises a fascinating collection of antique and vintage textiles, costumes, decorative interiors and one-of-a-kind finds, offering visitors the chance to discover something truly special.
Whether searching for a distinctive outfit, a statement piece for the home or simply enjoying the charm and character of vintage design, visitors can browse an eclectic selection of beautiful, original and sustainable items.
With knowledgeable dealers travelling from across the country, the event also offers an opportunity to meet specialists, discover the stories behind their collections and appreciate the craftsmanship of times gone by.
Adding to the occasion is the opportunity to explore the magnificent Assembly Room, one of Buxton’s most impressive historic interiors and a fitting backdrop for this celebration of style, heritage and individuality.
The event is organised by Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust, with all proceeds helping to fund the charity’s work to preserve, celebrate and share Buxton’s remarkable heritage.
