Led by VAA artist mentor Karen van Hoey Smith in conversation with award-winning artist Jo Scott, aka The Travelling Artist, this session will look beyond the traditional gallery model and explore the routes that have helped Jo turn her work into a thriving creative business.

From greeting card design and licensing to commissions and building a distinctive niche in animal portraiture, Jo has developed a career by understanding where her work fits, who it connects with and the different ways it can generate income.

Rather than focusing on a single route to success, this masterclass will offer honest insight into what has worked, what hasn’t and how you can begin identifying new possibilities within your own practice.
