‘Winter Stag’ workshop – Acrylic Painting with Sue Gardner

Painting a Winter Stag in acrylics – all day workshop

Venue – Sharpes Pottery Museum, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE11 9DG

All the materials needed for the day are provided, Spend the day with me painting, learning and socialising with other like minded artists and take home your own original version of my ‘Winter Stag’ painting size 45cm x 60 cm on canvas. This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers alike. We will experiment with colour mixing, mark making, splattering, layering and glazing, to create a bright and characterful stag painting like the one shown.

We begin at 10am, and paint till 3pm with breaks for coffee/tea and cake (provided), and lunch(please bring a packed lunch)

Wear clothing that wont mind an accidental splash of paint, and get ready to have fun, relax and learn.

Parking is available in the museum carpark
