Emergency First Aid at Work

This is a one day emergency first aid at work course which satisfies the legal requirements for a first aider in the workplace and is compliant with Health and Safety Executive directives. You will be continuously assessed by your tutor throughout the day and there will be a multiple choice written test at the end of the day to assess what you have learnt.

• Legislation
• Incident management
• Casualty management
• First aid for the unconscious casualty
• Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
• First aid for severe bleeding
• Recognition and treatment for choking
• Recognition and treatment for seizures
• Recognition and treatment for burns
