Join us for our Christmas Felt Bauble Workshop

Rachel Morley is a local artist and feltmaker who will be supporting you in a gloriously festive, creative afternoon, making your own beautiful felt Christmas baubles.

What You’ll Do

• Create 3D felt baubles using the dry needle‑felting method
• Explore making 2D (flat) felt shapes for extra decoration
• Shape and form your baubles using wool fibres
• Add Christmas motifs with needle‑felted wool yarns
• Stitch a hanging cord as the finishing touch

This Workshop Is Perfect For

• Complete beginners … if you are able to hold a pencil you can hold the felting needle. Some people prefer to hold the needle itself, and others like mounting it in a wooden handle. There is a possibility of ‘stabbing yourself’ with the needle, which is painful for a short while, if you suddenly lose concentration! It is an occupational hazard and all of us have done it at some point! We have plasters!
