From the Post Office scandal to a one-woman shoplifting epidemic, Abby’s new show warns that any one of us could get caught up in it at any time. But with the justice system in a death spiral, will there be any legal-aid defence lawyers left to help you?
Abby has practiced as a criminal defence solicitor for almost thirty years, obtaining her Higher Rights in 2000. She’s a standup performer and writer of real wit and originality, tackling some difficult material with her laser insight and bleak northern humour.
In August 2022, Abby made her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut, performing her sell out hour long stand up comedy and storytelling show. The show sold out again in 2023 and 2024.
