The Stockport based Hayes Sisters, Angela and Cathryn, weave a tapestry of harmonies into their music, that reflects their rich cultural heritage. An evening with the Sisters come with a combination of familiar standards and their own penned songs – inspired by personal experiences, politics, love and literature. With sounds suggestive of The Roaches and The McGarrigles, they have their own distinct style, bringing an evening of close harmonies and warm patter. From Flamenco to folk, Country to Celtic, The Hayes Sisters are sure to leave you with a smile on your face!
“Entropy” are a local duo, Richard Freeman (guitar + vocals) and Paul Chisnell (vocals + percussion), who have individually played and performed for more years than they like to admit! Having teamed up last year, they play an eclectic mix of music, from Hoagy Carmichael to Sting…with many others in between, including an original song or two.
Libby’s Walled Garden Workshop is an intimate cabaret-style seated venue, located behind Libby’s Café at 479 Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield. On our musical evenings we run a simple bar, and serve a snack or two (often Libby’s famous veggie or meaty sausage rolls). To get to the Workshop, follow the passage down the right hand side of Libby’s Café and you’ll find us.
Friday 28th March 2025. Doors open 7:15 pm for a 7:30 pm start
