Step into summer with an afternoon of music, friendship and feel-good musical storytelling at this joyful Melodic Moments concert.

Created especially for people living with dementia, carers, and those with additional needs or life-limiting conditions, this relaxed and inclusive event offers the chance to enjoy beautiful live music in a way that feels comfortable, engaging and enjoyable.

We’re delighted to welcome back our fabulous wind quintet – musicians who have been part of the Melodic Moments journey since the very first concert. For many regular audience members, they have become familiar faces and cherished friends, returning each season to share music, laughter and memorable moments.

Bursting with musical colour and character, the ensemble’s unique blend of instruments creates a wonderfully varied sound world. Their warmth, personality and enjoyment of performing together make every concert feel as welcoming as a gathering of old friends.

Throughout the afternoon, Caroline Welsh’s storytelling helps create a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can feel involved, connected and welcome. Whether you’re discovering Melodic Moments for the first time or returning to a familiar favourite, you’ll be part of an experience that celebrates music, community and togetherness.

And as always, the afternoon ends with tea and cake –  a much-loved moment where conversations continue, friendships grow and shared connections flourish.
