Our One World
This year, the festival’s theme is ‘Our One World,’ celebrating how our whole town comes together for the day.
In addition to live music, there will be a wide range of fun activities for all ages, spoken word performances, 30 community stalls, and plenty of international food options – including the legendary One World Tea Stall!
This is a free event perfect for families looking for activities everyone can enjoy on a beautiful day in the Peak District. Attendees can help raise funds for next year’s event by donating what they can and buying a drink.
A Call For Volunteers: One World Festival is a volunteer-led initiative supported by local borough and county councillors, traders, stall holders, and bucket collections on the day.
Sophie Mackreth, one of the voluntary organisers of the festival says:
“We’re busy bringing together the programme for the 36th One World Festival in New Mills – it’s wonderful to see the town come together each year, so we’re working hard to include something for everyone!”
20 more volunteers are needed to make this wonderful event happen. Please express your interest through this form or get in touch via info@oneworldfestival.org.
