Children’s Illustration Workshop at Turners Art Supplies (Afternoon Session 1-3pm)
Join me for a fun and creative children’s illustration workshop at the wonderful Turners Art Supplies studio in Lumsdale, Matlock.
This workshop is all about encouraging imagination, creativity and confidence through drawing and painting. Together we’ll explore illustration techniques, character design and playful ways of creating artwork, using a variety of exciting art materials in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
Children will have the opportunity to experiment with drawing, colour and mixed-media techniques while developing their own unique ideas and artwork. Whether they love drawing at home or simply enjoy being creative, this workshop is designed to help them have fun, try new things and enjoy the process of making art.
I’m a children’s book illustrator, mural artist and art educator with many years of experience teaching creative workshops. I love helping young artists build confidence and discover new ways to express themselves through drawing and illustration. I’ll begin the session with a short demonstration before guiding everyone through the creative activities, offering plenty of encouragement and individual support along the way.
The workshop is suitable for all abilities and no previous experience is needed. The focus is on creativity, experimentation and enjoying the process rather than producing a perfect piece of artwork. By the end of the session, children will leave with finished artwork to take home, along with lots of inspiration to continue creating.

£25 per child
Suitable for children aged 8–12 years.
All materials and equipment are provided.
Each child will receive a complimentary art pack to take home.
Squash and biscuits will be available during the workshop. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking.
Payment is made on the day directly to Turners Art Supplies. Cash and card payments are accepted.
