What's on
Step into the enchanting world of Victorian illustrator Kate Greenaway this spring – a family-friendly event inspired by her timeless illustrations of playful children, blooming gardens, and charming countryside scenes.
Kate Greenway was a bestselling Victorian children’s illustrator, popular for her idyllic illustrations and poetry and the Greenway medal is still awarded today to British children’s book illustrators.
“The fields were green, the skies were blue,
The daisies sprinkled with silver dew,
The lambs were bleating, birds did sing,
For it was once again the spring.”
At the Buxton Crescent Experience, we will be bringing the characters, stories and pictures that have delighted families and children for over 100 years.
