What's on
The Comedy Village was created by comedian Rob Rouse. He wanted to bring the best stand-up comedy to the small villages in the Peak District. His dream was to create evenings full of laughter, that would bring small communities together, reducing the need for people to have to travel into the cities to find entertainment and culture.
Star or LIVE AT THE APOLLO SCOTT BENNETT comes to The Bully! Scott has left a trail of utterly destroyed comedy rooms in his wake these last few years, (he did our village halls in April and Crookes social club in September and absolutely levelled them!) he’s pound for pound one of the most relentlessly funny comedians working today.
Pete Selwood – Yorkshire born-and-bred comedian Pete Selwood has quickly risen through the comedy ranks with his excellent storytelling style, that mixes hilarious observational material with killer punchlines.
In his short time on the comedy scene he has already won the Liverpool Echo New Comedian Of The Year 2016, Hot Water New Comedian Of The Year 2016 and the Laurence Batley New Yorkshire Comedian Of The Year 2017.
He was also a finalist in Hilarity Bites in both 2016 and 2017.
Pete has appeared on Comedy Central and has just finished filming the live action Hollywood production of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’
